Have you ever sat down and listened to someone who’s involved in keeping up with the current trends of interior decoration? Once in awhile, I like to watch some of the house flipping shows. One very popular color that decorators use to include in every home is grey. Grey walls with a different colored grey to paint the cabinets in the kitchen and white-tiled floors. Or maybe it was grey and white speckled granite in the bathrooms with black or white scattered around. (I remember the bathroom stalls in my old middle school were marbled grey with white toilets. It gave me the feeling of an institution.) One of my least favorite colors is grey. It’s boring, dull, and lacks any kind of personality. Grey tastes like regular oatmeal without berries or sweetener. If I wanted to drive myself crazy, I would tile my bathroom with grey tiles and white walls while I painted my whole bedroom a dull grey before I admitted myself to the funny farm! However, I have a friend who loves grey, and we are still friends. It’s a calming neutral color for her, and she is willing to accent her apartment with grey-painted decorations. After doing a little research about what’s in style for interior decoration in 2023, I found out grey was going out of style. Tune in next week to find out what is in style for this year!
